Your first order

What to do from the moment a customer pays until the parcel arrives.

Applies to: Orders

When the payment lands

  1. 1Open the order. The top of the page tells you what to buy, in which option, and how many.
  2. 2Check the current supplier price. The cost stored on the order is a snapshot, and supplier prices move.
  3. 3Buy the exact variant. The specification checklist lists colour, size and every other option so you do not end up with a look-alike.
  4. 4Record the purchase: supplier platform, their order number, what you actually paid, and the tracking number.
  5. 5Keep the order status updated so the customer's tracking page stays accurate.

As soon as you record the real amount you paid, profit for that order is recalculated from the real cost instead of the estimate.

If something goes wrong

  • The customer can open a claim from their order page. It arrives in your after-sales list with the order, the upstream purchase and the delivery trail attached.
  • Approving a refund issues it through your payment provider and immediately reduces that order's profit, so your numbers stay honest.
  • Supplier raised the price or ran out of stock? Both are flagged, and out-of-stock items can pause themselves.
